Engineering Career Day Volunteers

Goodyear needs
students to volunteer at Engineering Career Day. Volunteers
will receive volunteer hours (Goodyear will sign off on service hours for each
individual), a FREE lunch, and an Engineering Career Day T-shirt! Volunteers
will be asked to set up and tear down at the event, assist students and their
families around the UA campus, and help the various businesses and
organizations during the hands-on activities. The event will take place at The
University of Akron on Saturday, April
12. This volunteer experience is a great way for students to network with Goodyear
associates and with 70+ other businesses and organizations! Students can volunteer from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m., or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Goodyear's Engineering Career Day mission is to inform and encourage young
women and young men in grades six through 12 to pursue opportunities and
careers that exist in various science, technology, engineering and mathematics
disciplines, as taught by representatives from local businesses and
